Photography has been a part of my life for a long time. Traveling the world for my job and working with some of the world’s most recognisable bands a camera was always close by. I took up studies with the Photography Institute and completed a Diploma in Photography. Following this I was asked whilst also out on tour to shoot images for several of the world’s leading musicians including Kid Rock, Slipknot, Nikki Minaj and The Killers.
One of my other hobbies has been to Scuba Dive. Swimming was a part of my life from a young age, growing up on the beaches of the Australian East Coast. It was a natural progression to take my camera underwater and was certainly a lot quieter! The fascination with what was underneath the surface of the ocean and continual education have now expanded my horizons as a Master Scuba Diver and Rescue Diver as well as expanding my camera range to now have more than just one suitcase every time I check in for a trip.
After several years of being the resident photographer for a leading dive centere on Sydney’s Northern Beaches and taking several trips internationally on behalf of tourism Philippines I turned my camera to my then 6 month old son as he discovered his own passion for the underwater world.
The mutual love we all have for swimming and water has allowed me to capture memories of his from such a young age to this day. The amazing memories my wife, son and I have and the reaction we have received from the public, friends and family suggested that we needed to be able to provide the same experience and opportunity for other parents.
I absolutely love seeing how happy children are underwater and taking images that the general public can’t normally capture. Documenting these memories and laughing with the families is something that continues to inspire me daily.
I look forward to capturing your family’s memories for many years to come. Clint
